Emma Momberg

Education Recruitment Manager

Heading up the international side of ASQ, Emma is growing the team which manages education roles worldwide.

Emma is your go-to adviser who helps candidates secure their dream international role and connecting them to strong, appealing roles across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.  She liaises closely with candidates and schools to ensure the perfect fit from both sides, and ensures the recruitment process is smooth, friendly, and meaningful.

A background in the tourism industry means that Emma applies her passion for worldwide travel, and her extensive geographical knowledge, to support candidates who are looking to relocate to a new country.  Emma has travelled to a number of different locations over the years for work, and is well-placed to provide her top tips for moving overseas and an insight into what to expect.

As a Mum to two children, Emma is greatly involved in school-life and member of the committee; she has a real passion for education.  Living in a coastal town, Emma makes the most of her “me-time” with trips to the beach, connecting with friends and family, and even enjoying the odd cappuccino or on special occasions, a cocktail!

Lauren Trent

Education Recruitment Consultant

Whether you’re exploring teaching opportunities in Thailand or Vietnam, there’s a good chance Lauren is the driving force behind the ASQ International job ad that caught your eye. As our Education Recruitment Consultant for Asia, Lauren is instrumental in linking exceptional educators with rewarding international school positions. Her expertise spans sourcing and screening candidates, assessing qualifications, and aligning talent with the right roles across a diverse network of schools.

Lauren is also your go-to guide for interview preparation and relocation advice. Her insights into living and working abroad are invaluable for educators making the leap into international teaching.

She recently completed her Bachelor of Education Degree in Foundation Phase teaching, deepening her understanding of the classroom and the challenges educators face.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys a full and vibrant life. She’s a proud mum to a primary-school-aged daughter and cherishes time spent with family and friends. Summer finds her soaking up the outdoors, while cooler evenings are perfect for a bit of local wine tasting.

Jacqui Truelove

Senior Education Recruitment Consultant

If you’re on the hunt for a teaching role in the Middle East, or indeed are a school located in the region and are seeking candidates, Jacqui is your savvy recruitment expert.  She spots the best jobs in Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Dubai along with other countries across the area and brings them to the fore.

Jacqui is no stranger to ensuing employment overseas, or indeed to working in an educational environment and hence knows exactly what appeals to candidates and what may put them off!

Jacqui taught EFL (English as a Foreign Language) during a gap year in Taiwan and gained insight into many other countries during her years working on a cruise ship – experiences which she relished.  In between a couple of stints in the commercial world, Jacqui led her own recruitment agency specialising at placing au pairs in the USA, before joining ASQ International.

Outside the world of education, Jacqui is a fan of farmers markets, enjoys craft beers and food pairing.  Another new pastime is crocheting, which Jacqui has recently discovered is not only a great way to relax but also quite addictive, and she’s on the way to completing a cracking scarf!

Susan Rogers

Education Candidate Consultant

If you’ve spotted one of ASQ International’s engaging job adverts or creative social media posts, chances are Susan had something to do with it! Alongside helping bring ASQ’s campaigns to life, Susan screens and supports teachers throughout the recruitment process, matching outstanding educators with international schools across the globe.

Having travelled to multiple countries, Asia has always been one of Susan’s favourite destinations. After visiting Thailand four times and Vietnam twice, where she taught English both in person and online, she fell in love with the culture, people, and way of life. Those experiences continue to inspire her passion for international education today.

A creative at heart, Susan loves anything that allows her to express herself. She enjoys upcycling furniture, redecorating spaces, and spending time in her garden. When it’s time to unwind, she can often be found on the beach, walking her five dogs or playing in the tidal pool with her daughter, Gemma. In the evenings, a chilled glass of white wine is her favourite way to end the day.
